urban local body of Chas city in Bokaro district, Jharkhand. Established as a Municipal Council in 1977 and upgraded to a Municipal Corporation in 2015, it currently administers 35 wards and delivers essential civic services to residents.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1772\" data-end=\"2000\">The corporation manages sanitation, solid waste management, water supply, drainage systems, road maintenance, street lighting, property tax collection, birth and death registration, trade licenses, and building plan approvals.<\/p><p data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1449\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2352\">With a focus on sustainable urban development and citizen-friendly governance, Chas Municipal Corporation provides both online and offline services for tax payments, grievance redressal, and certification processes.
